William Green Art
We are always pleased to discuss any requests for the commissioning of new art. If you would like to discuss your requirements directly with William Green then you can find the contact details within this website.
Before commissioning new art it is worth bearing in mind that the starting point for the discussion is any special preference that you have with regard to materials, style, the area where the painting is to be hung, spacial requirements and, of course, budget. Once these things are decided upon, William will be able to prepare and review with you a series of options and ideas for the painting. An agreement between you and the artist can then be reached.
For larger commissions, a sketch or drawing may be provided outlining the idea for the work. An initial fee is required by the artist before he commences the work. This fee is not refundable and is applied to the final costs of the work.
You are purchasing an original price of art and as such the timescale for the submission of the work can be anything from a month to several months, depending upon the size and scale of the project. To ensure that the finished piece fits into the intended location it is essential that you and the artist maintain regular open communication.
Commissioning original artwork is an exciting and rewarding activity for those who do that. We look forward to hearing from you to discuss your ideas and requirements.
